Master Programs

As in the Undergraduate Program, the School of New Dimensions'  Masters Degrees are available in a pure on-ground class format or in a blended on-ground and online format. In keeping with the demands of our increasingly global economy, learning teams are an essential part of all our courses, and they are conducted in either an online or on-ground format or a mixture of both. 

 

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program is a 48-credit graduate program designed for the adult working professional. It is offered online and on-ground. The MBA program has been designed to provide a strong conceptual foundation for successful management of business. It also emphasizes the development of skills related to creating new value for customers and competitiveness through the completion of an entrepreneurial or business consulting capstone team project. The MBA at Albertus provides the opportunity to profit from practical work-related experiences through a unique and intensive method of collaborative learning and student interaction.
 

Master of Science in Management and Organizational Leadership

The Master of Science in Management and Organizational Leadership (MSMOL) program has been designed for the adult working professional whose advancement in the contemporary workplace is increasingly dependent on significant academic achievement in an environment which emphasizes both the theoretical approach to management and leadership issues and the opportunity to profit from practical work-related experiences. Participants deepen their understanding of the ethical, social, behavioral, economic and organizational concepts which are critical to the management and leadership of corporations and businesses. This program serves the needs of a wide range of learners in organizations large and small, particularly those who need to acquire or develop the analytical skills which will enable them to make more effective contributions to the workplace and offers participants ample opportunity to learn about and to practice leadership in a nurturing and intellectually invigorating environment.  Master of Science in Management and Organizational Leadership

 

Master of Science in Education

The Master of Science in Education is a 30 credit degree program is designed for teachers with initial or provisional certification who need to fulfill requirements for professional teacher certification in Connecticut. Candidates move through the program in an accelerated format and can complete all requirements for the thirty-credit degree in under two years. The M.S.Ed. focuses on competencies related to differentiated and literacy instruction, particularly as required in work with students having special learning needs, including specific needs of the English language learner (ELL) students. The program also includes course work in multiculturalism. A major component of the program focuses on the use of science based research as related to classroom assessment of student learning as a means for improving instruction. This program will utilize a sequenced, cohort-based, weekly class session format over an eight week period with classes meeting on-site for 2.5 hours. An additional 2.5 hour online element occurs asynchronously each week.
